Concluding the 2008-2009 season in spectacular fashion, the Great Plains Diving Association finished 24th in the nation at the 2009 Speedo Junior National Championships in Moultrie, GA. GPDA was represented by three athletes at the meet, with Allison T. competing on one and three meters at the Age-Group National Championships, and Anton and Clark competing in all three events (1m, 3m, platform) at the Junior National Championships. All three athletes performed well, with Clark establishing new marks for GPDA success, reaching the finals (top 12) on all three boards, achieving a 7th place finish on three-meter, 4th place on one-meter, and 6th place on platform.
The 24th place team finish places GPDA first among KC area programs, and ranked third amongst Midwest area programs.
