The Great Plains Diving Association is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, with several facets, all ultimately seeking to promote the sport of diving throughout the Midwest area. Primarily, Great Plains Diving is a comprehensive year-round competitive diving program, but GPDA strives to offer diving opportunities for divers of all skill levels and ages, novice, elite, young and not so young alike. Additionally, GPDA is committed to promoting and advancing diving in non-traditional diving areas, offering training groups in widespread locations.
Great Plains Diving utilizes a systematic training process, improving diver safety and performance. Divers all train under uniform guidelines to promote proper technique and fundamentals. All divers have the opportunity to train three-meter springboard as well as platform diving, likewise there are competitive opportunities for all divers ranging from intrasquad meets for lessons divers, to national championship meets for elite divers. Above all else Great Plains Diving is dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential in the sport of diving.
